Bloomfield is not a suburb of Pittsburgh. It is a neighborhood in Pittsburgh. It is not a scary, dangerous part of town. It is filled with art galleries and restaurants and is known as Pittsburgh’s “Little Italy.” These are called “facts,” something news reporters used to have at least a passing familiarity with.
